Within two weeks I expect to have a good group of photographs to send to you illustrating the beautiful artistic basketry handicraft" of the California Indians
As I go through the portfolios sent to me in 1924 by E. S. Curtis, I marvel at the design qualities; motifs which modern designers of today would praise highly, and art-craftsmen study for adaptations.
Mrs. deLemos and I both enjoyed our visit to your Museum and appreciate the time you gave us showing us your collections, which were all beautifully arranged.
